DIY Ice Cube Recipes 

Commonly, people use normal ice on their skin for glowing benefits right? But now i have something really interesting to share with you! Elevate your skincare game with a refreshing twist and turn! Use natural ingredients which are especially suitable to your skin to craft rejuvenating ice cubes and seamlessly incorporate them in to your daily skincare routine.

Turmeric Ice Cubes

  •   Mix 1 spoon of turmeric with water
  •   Stir until dissolved
  •   Pour into a ice cube tray
  •   freeze in the refrigerator
  •   Massage onto your face in a circular motion
  •   Use up to twice a week ( only if your skin reacts well to turmeric ).

Best for:  Ice cubes made from turmeric are good for people suffering with acne and pigmentation.   •   Extract natural Aloe vera gel directly from the plant
  •   Scoop out the fresh gel from the leaf
  •   Pour the gel into an Ice cube tray
  •   Freeze the tray in the refrigerator until the cubes are set
  •   Apply the Aloe vera ice cubes to your skin regularly

  •   Patch test first to ensure you’re not allergic to carrot or beetroot juice.

Best for: Ice cubes can also be prepared with beetroot or carrot juice, this are beneficial to remove dullness from the skin, brightens skin and reduce the appearance patches, spots and pigmentation on the skin.

  • Grab a fresh cucumber and chop it into small pieces
  • keep them into a mixer jar, add a bit of water if needed, and blend till you get that perfect juice
  • Pour the juice into an ice cube tray
  • Stick it in the fridge till you get solid ice cubes
  • For face and neck, you need only 3 to 4 cubes
  • Gently mask your skin with cucumber cubes and wash it off
  • Follow up with your favorite moisturizer

These DIY ice cubes are beneficial for everyone, but following up precautions before and after using them on skin is necessary for everyone.
  • After rubbing with ice cubes, never forget to apply moisturizer – because, we need a moisturizer to lock in the glow and moisture on the skin
  • Applying ice can cause sensitivity, so SPF’s a must and never skip it
  • Before applying, make sure your face is clean and free of products, so benefits get absorbed
  • For turmeric cubes, use natural beauty turmeric, not kitchen stuff – because it could be harsh
  • For carrot/beetroot cubes, use fresh ones only
  • You don’t need entire tray of cubes only 3-4 cubes are enough, store rest for later
  • Don’t use daily, twice/thrice a week is good, depends on skin sensitivity and reactions
